A Guided Notebook for Growing Leaders
Not a leadership manual. A space to challenge what you think you already know about people management. Shedding light on 21 leadership myths — one page, one reflection at a time.
About the Book
As leadership trainers, one thing that surprises us again and again is the realization that many leadership myths still exist in the minds of managers we have worked with. So, we decided to put together a book that debunks some of these myths.
Each myth is followed by space to reflect and write down your own thoughts — because real change starts with your own answers, not ours.

Julia Warner BSc, MAEd
“You can’t do anything brave if you’re wearing the straitjacket of what will people think.” – Brené Brown
Julia took on her first leadership role at 31, successfully building the teaching department of a newly founded language institute in Vienna. She then established her own in-company language training and coaching business before moving into academia, where, in cooperation with the British Council and Oxford University’s Department of Education, she supported internationalization projects in higher education across Europe and Latin America.
Moving then into systemic coaching and mediation, she embraced conflict management as a powerful tool for personal and professional development — an insight that shaped her path into leadership training, where she designs and facilitates programs in which conflict resilience and effective interpersonal skills play a central role.
